An evolution of their annual magazine reflects the museum’s new vision for the future.
With extensive renovations and the appointment of a new director, the Durban Natural Science Museum’s annual publication required a fresh new look to reflect their bold, new vision. We provided a complete makeover of the magazine starting with a more relevant name and masthead for the publication. Thola, meaning "to discover" in isiZulu, was chosen to inspire a contemporary layout and design and influenced both the visual language as well as the copy platform.
